Women Helping Women

I never know who is going to walk into my shop or why we were meant to meet. However, once in a blue moon, something magical happens and the questions are answered. Liz Hernandez created Wordaful (words are powerful) to help others turn negatives into positives. I use her deck by pulling a card and then I spell out the word to conjure up its magic. C-R-E-A-T-E. It’s not enough to think about the word. You must take action for change to happen.

As I bow my gifts, I’m thinking about who the gift is intended for and I imagine their delight in knowing that they are loved. I know the little detail of a beautifully wrapped present communicates care.

I’m so grateful for my store as a platform for connection. It’s not about exchanging goods for money. It’s about people and making a difference in each other’s lives.
