Our carefully curated gift selection must meet certain guidelines if it’s to be on our shelves.
- We must believe in the artist or brand we’re buying from. We invest in people who are kind and generous.
- Products must enhance our lives: either making us more creative, smarter, or promote connection.
- We define luxury as having something no one else has. This is not price driven. It’s about discovery.
What is a gift? It’s a tool to communicate love, appreciation, and celebration. Each gift exchanged makes at least two people happy-the giver and the receiver. What if a couple gives to a family? At least five smiles! What if the gift is shared with others? The positive ripples of giving go on and on.
Unwrapping the gift is the second-best part of receiving a present. The anticipation of tearing the paper, seconds before the reveal, releases happy neurochemicals. So, the recipient is delighted even before they’ve seen the gift.
We’re obsessed with presentation. That’s why no one wraps like we do. We believe a beautifully wrapped present communicates thought and effort. Wrapping is our art so the details are very important. We start by choosing a paper that coordinates with the gift. Kids’ gifts get playful, rainbow designs while adults’ presents get a more sophisticated style. Then we complete the look with matching ribbons, bows, and embellishments. Our goal is to make the present look so beautiful that the recipient doesn’t want to open it.
We've created the world’s only entirely pre-wrapped gift store. To keep products clean and in perfect condition, we unpack new merchandise and gift wrap before it hits the sales floor. We overwrap beautiful papers with cellophane so gifts can easily be cleaned with a Clorox wipe. To ensure we have minimal contact with the gift, the person who unpacks the merchandise is the same person who wraps it.
It's a privilege to wrap because we then become connectors to make other people happy. We take that honor seriously and are grateful every day for the opportunity to bring joy to others.
