"cat lady" card. as a cat lady myself, this is representational of both my dream birthday and kind of just how I live my daily life. This card is printed using the centuries old technique of block printing. The original illustration is painstakingly carved into a hard block of linoleum. the carvings are then hand inked and relief printed one by one in our sunny california studio. block printed cards have saturated colors and a fun texture since the ink sits right on top of the card. each print is unique, so yours will have slight variations from the picture.
We're obsessed with presentation. That's why no one wraps like we do. We believe a beautifully wrapped present communicates thought and effort. Wrapping is our art so the details are very important. We start by choosing a paper that coordinates with the gift. Kids gifts get playful, rainbow designs while adult's presents get a more sophisticated style. Then we complete the look with matching ribbons, bows, and embellishments. Our goal is to make the present look so beautiful that the recipient doesn't want to open it.
